Hi I’m Alexis! I am a corporate professional in NYC with a case of wanderlust and a limited vacation day budget.
In my early 20s, I started to travel the world with the goal of maximizing both my vacation days and salary, and wanted to share my adventures (and tips) with you.
When I was in college, I got the opportunity to travel out of the US for the first time on an all-expenses paid trip to Qatar for an academic competition over my spring break, and my life changed forever. I got the opportunity to see how different people in different cultures lived on the other side of the world, and I was hooked.
However, as a 22-year-old that just started my first job, I didn’t have many vacation days to spare. From then on, I set out to maximize every long weekend and my one week-long vacation a year, to see as much of the world as I possibly could. I have spent years maximizing my vacation days and paychecks to travel the world with my friends, family, and boyfriend (now husband).
